Strategic and Campaign Planning
I design strategic planning processes, conduct stakeholder research, plan and facilitate retreats, and write strategic plans. I work with staff, stakeholders, and/or coalition partners to craft a plan for winning an advocacy campaign.
Coalitions and other Collaborative Strategies
I assist organizations coming together to form a new coalition, network, alliance, or other form of partnership. I assist existing coalitions/partnerships/alliances/networks with retreat facilitation, planning, and priority-setting. I have particular expertise helping coalitions working together on policy advocacy.
Fundraising
I provide training, coaching, and direct assistance in developing fundraising messages, strategies, tactics, plans, and budgets. I have particular expertise in major donor fundraising, membership fundraising, and fundraising events. (Read more about my Fundraising Consulting).
Facilitation
I facilitate single-organization and coalition-wide staff, board, or membership retreats or meetings.
Board Governance
I provide one-off-training and extended engagements with organizations to assist with board recruitment/orientations, meetings and general board participation, and the board-Exec. Director relationship.
Executive Coaching and Transitions
I coach individual Executive Directors, particularly those new or newer to their roles or for organizations undergoing rapid change.
I assist boards with transitions in the executive role, including hiring processes for smaller organizations that can’t afford a specialty executive recruitment firm.
